Lead Surveys & Abatement

Lead surveys are conducted on variety of residential, industrial and non-industrial sites to assess the presence of the lead containing materials. The materials may be present in the old chipping paints or as soil or water contaminants from specific sources. In addition, determination of airborne lead presence is conducted for specific operations or procedures that may encounter potential health risks from exposure to airborne lead compounds. The assessment may be conducted by collecting representative suspect materials and forwarding them to EPA Certified laboratory for lead content determination. Another investigative technique is the use of direct reading instrumentation. Both analytical methods are recommended under the HUD (Housing & Urban Development) Guidelines.

The survey findings are presented in a comprehensive report. The report includes specific abatement methodologies to assure elimination or reduction of risk from exposure to identified lead containing materials.

The final abatement project may be completed by our highly trained labor force. The remediation work follows strict regulatory compliance and provides the client with full set of project documents including all of the waste disposal manifest and project notes. All of the work is conducted in full accordance with the established EPA standards as well as HUD Guidelines for lead abatement work procedures.
